Power consumption figures refer to appliances when new. Typically, consumption rises slightly as appliances age because insulation deteriorates, and door seals can start to leak. If you want to be completely sure about its consumption before you replace your old freezer, buy or borrow an accurate electricity meter and measure the consumption over 24 hours.
