Incandescent bulbs are rated E-F
Conventional incandescent bulbs use 4 times as much more as A-rated energy saving bulbs, so you can save money by fitting an A-rated energy saving bulb.
Conventional incandescent bulbs are only recommended for lights that will not be on for long or where it is important to have good colour rendering, for example over the dining table or in rooms where you are painting and redecorating.
Incandescent bulbs give off a warm light and have a softer hue than halogen lights which concentrate the light much more.
