Digital decoders (Set-top boxes)
From 1 November 2009 all TV transmissions in Denmark will be digital. This means that viewers will need to purchase either a TV with a built-in digital decoder or a separate decoder. However, some decoders can cost up to 27 Euros a year in extra power consumption.
