Partner the Trust
Anybody that produces, distributes or markets electrical equipment which complies with the purchasing guidelines can become a partner of the Trust.
Who can become a partner?
You can become a partner if you produce, distribute or market electrical equipment which complies with the purchasing guidelines.
You can also become a partner if you actively work to reduce the electricity consumption of your company.
Right to use the Trust’s ‘Recommended’ label on products
As a partner you can obtain the right to use the Trust’s Energy Saving Label on your products. If these promote electricity savings in Denmark, a partnership agreement can also include marketing on the website, advertisements and similar.
Help to save
If you enter into an agreement to reduce the consumption of electricity in a workplace, you can obtain assistance from the Trust to identify and implement the savings. As a result of the agreement, you may also be able to increase the range of your electrical equipment; for example, in the form of a bonus gift in connection with the purchase of goods or services.
Obligations in relation to energy efficient products
Partners commit themselves to focusing on energy efficient products in their marketing and special offers. The Trust has defined requirements for a product’s energy efficiency.
Examples of partnerships can be
- Use of Energy Saving label on energy efficient products
- Price agreements covering energy efficient products or services´
- Inclusion on the Trust’s list of A-rated products
- Agreements covering the Trust’s recommendation of products
- Curve Breaker Agreements
To date, more than 100 companies have taken advantage of the offer.
The recommended products and/or partners can be marketed by the Trust to promote electricity savings in Denmark. These can feature on our website, in TV commercials and in advertisements, amongst other media.
