Applications by producers and suppliers
Every producer and supplier of professional fridges and freezers with integrated refrigeration systems (‘plug-in’ type) can apply to have their products listed on overviews by signing a contract with the Trust covering the relevant products.
The procedure is extremely simple:
- Sign a contract with the Trust
- Submit an application with a test report and photo in electronic format for each appliance
- The Trust processes the application within two weeks
- The appliance is listed once the application is approved.
The Danish Technological Institute acts as the Secretariat for the Trust.
Benefits for producers and suppliers
There is no charge for having products listed on overviews.
Producers and suppliers can refer to the fact that a particular appliance is featured on the Trust’s recommended overview of energy efficient professional fridges and freezers in their marketing material.
Because the method of testing appliances is based on an equivalent scheme in the UK, existing reports produced for the UK scheme are acceptable.
