Strategy helps new products get established
The Trust has a strategy to help new energy saving technologies and products get established in the market. We do this in the hope that the product will find its way into even more Danish households, and in so doing will generate greater savings of electricity and CO2.
Requirements for use of the Energy Saving Label
All producers of energy saving equipment are eligible to use the Trust’s Energy Saving Label in connection with the marketing of products which are listed on the Trust’s product overview of recommended energy saving equipment. In order to be listed producers must document that their product complies with a number of requirements laid down by the Trust.
What is energy saving equipment?
- AutoPowerOff is an intelligent plug bank which automatically switches off all devices connected, for example, to a TV when it is switched off.
- The SparOmeter in an electricity meter which shows how much power is used by different electrical appliances.
- Wireless communication is the intelligent way to manage electrically powered devices in the home. Read more about wireless communication here.
