Break the electricity consumption curve

Sign a Curve Breaker Agreement with the Trust. Set a target for saving electricity, and get help to achieve it.

Offer of help to break the curve
The Trust offers Curve Breaker Agreements to Danish municipalities, regional authorities, government institutions and large office-based companies with the aim of halting electricity consumption by setting fixed savings targets.

The purpose of these agreements is to save millions of Danish kroner worth of electricity as well as providing a greener profile to the organisations making the efforts.

As part of the agreement, you will benefit from a range of tools to help you fulfil your targets. These cover user behaviour, purchasing and operations.

Signing is binding
You sign a written agreement with us. An important part of a Curve Breaker Agreement is the binding element associated with a formal agreement. You set a fixed target for saving electricity – for example, a 2% reduction every year in the period 2008-2010 in relation to 2007.

Keep up with consumption
Follow your electricity consumption on an ongoing basis with ‘Se Elforbrug’ (View Electricity Consumption), which is one of the Trust’s tools.
