Good advice on using game consoles

Follow our advice, and save power.

Switching off is most important
If you leave your game console powered up you consume almost as much electricity as when you play. Even on Standby, game consoles can use many watts.

The key advice is to switch off your game console when you are not using it.

How to switch of automatically
You can measure your consumption with an electricity meter such as a SparOmeter, and keep the power low by using an AutoPowerOff plug bank which automatically switches off your console.
