Find LED bulbs
A large selection of light sources with LED bulbs is available on the Danish market. Some of the bulbs have E27 or E14 bases like incandescents and halogens. Others have GU10 or GU5.3 bases as used by halogen reflector spots.
Light sources with luminescence angle of over and under 120 degrees
Click on the link at the foot of this page to find LED bulbs with circular beam pattern which have a luminescence angle of over 120 degrees. These typically replace incandescents and halogens.
The list also includes bulbs sources with concentrated beam pattern where the luminescence angle is less than 120 degrees. These are the equivalent of spotlights.
Put high demands on LEDs
Over the last few years the selection of products in Denmark has more than doubled. It is therefore now possible to be more discerning and put higher demands on light quality.
Colour temperature, colour, and colour rendering (CRI)
For indoor use, you should base your choice on the colour temperature and select the colour that matches a room's requirements.
You should also check the colour rendering index (CRI) of the light source. LEDs used for indoor lighting should have a CRI of at least 80. The best LEDs have a CRI of over 90 and can often be used in places where good colour rendering is very important.

Not all LEDs can be dimmed
If you want to switch to LEDs in places where you use a light dimmer, you should note that not all LED bulbs can be dimmed. Check the packaging to see if dimming is possible, or not.
