Several meter types
Several different types of meter are available, but price and quality can vary somewhat

If you need to measure consumption of only a few watts, standby consumption for example, the cheaper meters can be inaccurate. That is why you should choose a more expensive meter, such as a SparOmeter, which measures power consumption with much greater accuracy.
