AutoPowerOff for computers

AutoPowerOff Computer

An AutoPowerOff plug bank automatically switches off peripherals such as the monitor, printer, modem, loudspeakers, scanners, etc., when you turn off your computer.

> Find recommended AutoPowerOff plug banks (only in Danish)

This is where to find AutoPowerOff plug banks recommended by the Trust for computers. These are available in a wide variety of Danish radio and TV retailers, telephone stores, builder’s merchants, DIY chains, etc. Prices start from around EUR 5.50.

NB! If you have an inkjet printer connected, please remember to switch it off using the on/off button before you switch off the computer. This prevents damage to the printhead.

AutoPowerOff with or without USB
An AutoPowerOff plug bank with a USB cable can only be used with computers. The USB cable is connected to the computer and, when you switch off the computer, the plug bank switches off automatically.

If the AutoPowerOff with USB doesn’t function, an AutoPowerOff without a USB cable can be used as an alternative for computers. One of the sockets in the plug bank is a primary socket that controls when the other sockets switch on and off.
